Dubai: Quest to become the world’s most prepared country for Artificial Intelligence

Dubai is the city of world’s best architecture, Finance, Trading and lavish life. And Artificial Intelligence is the future of all the technologies. Today or tomorrow they must marry each other i.e. Dubai must adopt AI to create smartest future.
As per a report in 2017, the top 10 countries whose companies are leading in Artificial Intelligence are:

UAE has taken the leap towards gaining its position in the list of countries who are adopting AI to create highly productive innovative environment.  UAE believes in Smart Smarter Smartest… and therefore the government took AI adoption one step further by installing a minister in-charge of AI. His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, appointed Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama as the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence.

Few actions of UAE Government in the field of AI and Machine Learning in past years are:
  •          2000 – E-Government-the first government to move to e-government system
  •          2013 – Smart Government-launched services to public wherever they are round the clock
  •          2015 – Smart Transformation – Achieved 100% e-government transformation
  •          2017 – Artificial Intelligence-launched AI strategy as part of UAE Centennial 2071

UAE has planned Artificial Intelligence Strategy for smart future. They are calling it ‘The Next Era of Human-Machine Partnerships’.

The first of its kind in the area, AI Strategy covers different divisions and services in its vision to grow new tools of AI technology to be part of government work. It will help adapt to rapid changes and accomplishing extraordinary advancement in general performance in all levels by means of integrated smart digital systems that can beat challenges and give handy and brisk solutions, Characterized by quality and proficiency.

It intends to make UAE the first on the planet in the field of AI investment in various vital sectors, and in addition to make another crucial market with high economic value.
